Star Q
i. Serah Tugas!
We are nearing the end of this year's month of Ramadhan and the people going for Terawih prayers does show any sign of subsiding. That is surely a good sign. People, young and old, seem to be coming to this mosque without fail every night.
However, it is very sad to write here, that not all those who go to the mosque during this month, merely to perform Terawih prayers. For two nights in a row during Terawih prayers, pranksters have been throwing fire crackers while the others are fully concentrating on their prayers.
I suspect this could be the work of some child prankster who had nothing better to do. Or perhaps the prankster was forced to follow his (her?) parents to the mosque and so in retaliation, the fire crackers! The parents must have been thinking that their child would also be busy performing his prayers. Thus, one cannot blame the parents for their noble intenttions or indeed, their blissful ignorance to their child's naughtiness!
As far as I am concerned, as long as there is no harm done from the prank, all should be forgiven. But all quarters should not take forgiveness as a sign of weakness!
