The SPM trial examination is just around the corner (this Monday 3/9/12, to be exact!) and form five students every where are busy doing their revisions and conducting group studies aside from burning the midnight oil.
However, in the midst of all this anxiety to revise and cram in as much knowledge as possible, it is really mind boggling to see quite a number of students being oblivious to the impending examination. Whilst the rest of their classmates are busy burying themselves in reference books or engaged in study groups, this group of students carry on with their own discussions!
The discussions, sad to say, do not involve anything related to the subjects that they have learnt in school (one obvious clue is, there is not a single book of any kind on their tables!) They can be seen laughing to their hearts' content (perhaps planning for more Eid outings!) and most of them would be snacking on tit-bits (aside from drinking, which is allowed in class!)
On another note, I am willing myself to think positively that this group of students perhaps prefer to study in the confines of their own rooms (thinking really positively!) and that when they meet up with their friends, studying is something they just cannot do!
Well, thinking positively again, here's hoping that all our students do well in the trials (including those who study only in the confines of their own rooms!) and will do even better in the real exam! Insya Allah!
