Go Local! Love Local!

The time has come for us to take the Use Malaysian campaign to a new level.  We should now consider, not to only use products made in Malaysia, but also to seriously (I say, seriously!) consider using every thing Malaysian.  Local products should therefore not be restricted to clothes or shoes made in Malaysia, but they should also encompass food (originally local), culture (originally local), songs (originally local) and even traditional or contemporary dances (originally local)

We should seriously consider promoting what is genuinely and highly reflective of our own unique culture because I think, being a multi-racial country we ourselves are not short of original local products.  And it is these products that we should put forth when conducting promotional promotional programs especially for tourism; these products than we can safely claim as ours.  Only then, I think, people (with less than people-like behavior!) will stop all this barbaric display of tantrum.

On a more serious note, I also think we should stop promoting what is not ours especially those that belong to us; for example stop promoting their food and close down businesses that promote these foods or incur high business taxes to such establishments so that in the end, they will slowly die a natural death.

After Two Years.....

Can't believe that I have been too busy to write that I have actually left this blog untouched for two long years.  A lot of thing...
