The Suspense Begins

Well, it's that time again folks!  This Wednesday, the result for last years SPM examinations will be officially announced.  Parents, teachers and  students are waiting with abated breath; all hoping the best for everybody.  And as usual there are  the fussy-pots who have nothing to do with SPM, will be busy pointing fingers if the results go down (fingers not pointed at them) and beating their chests (I begin to imagine the primate that they  resemble) if the results are good.

Students have since last year, started to plot their education paths as to where they want to study and what discipline they want to enroll in.  Some will want to start high by going for diploma levels while some will be contented to start with certificate level and work their way up.  Of course, there will be those who, just as they were in school before this, will not even care less about what their results hold.

Parents of students who intend to pursue their education, have somehow along the way, started to save up for their children's education; whether or not it will be enough will remain to be seen.  For parents who have not saved up prior to the 21st, it will be a very tight squeeze on the wallet.  And for parents of those students who don't give a hoot about their own education, well, my sympathies.   Hardworking parents can do everything under the sun to help their children with their education, but if the children themselves refuse to study, then there is nothing anyone can do about it (deja vu classroom situation with the teachers!!!)

Whatever it is, all will be revealed this Wednesday.  My prayers and hopes for all those students who have really put in a lot of effort in their studies, that they get excellent results and become excellent human beings.  For those students who didn't bother to study (and caused your teachers and parents a lot of pain!), well, the ball is in your court now!

After Two Years.....

Can't believe that I have been too busy to write that I have actually left this blog untouched for two long years.  A lot of thing...
