Star Q
After almost forty-two weeks of school, it has finally come to a close. The school has become a much calmer place to be in. You notice this situation when more and more students take their own initiative to play truant (or taking an early holiday) with or without their parents' knowledge.
The situation is more palpable when you yourself feel less stressful to get up in the morning to go to work, even though it is a Monday morning. You get a sense of tranquility driving to school when you don't get daredevil students making sudden dashes to cross the road or race-driver parents zooming their cars, vans and what-have-yous like they were racing on an F1 circuit!
And so the school year comes to a slow, crawling much-awaited close. Students begin to rejoice and teachers can save their voices (from screaming) Every one gets a much deserved extended holiday. The school shuts down to meet again next year!
On a different quizzical note, there are the other people in school who still continue to work! I mean, where is the sense in letting these group of people work when their clients (teachers and students) are no more in school. If they have no work to do, then what do they actually do in the office! That's for a different entry!
