It's that time of year again! All the young adolescents in Malaysia are sitting for their life-determining exams. the form 5's are sitting for the SPM exams which will determine where they will be continuing their studies; whether colleges or institutions (or realistically some may even wander into the unchartered waters of job seeking!)
This lot of young people can be as fickle as a pickle in a jar! Some may already have some kind of idea where they will be heading to further their education. However, some are looking for more simpler (really?) destinations like job hunting. In fact some are looking as far as across the border for a more lucrative income.
Then there are the form 6's who are sitting for their STPM examination. Most of these lot are looking forward to enter local universities like their predecessors before them. It may be a tough act to follow because more than half of their 2010/2011 seniors managed to enter universities.
Of course there will be the few who will not make it to the universities. It is hoped that they will be wise enough to choose a path that will most benefit them; the wiser ones will surely try their best to pursue their education.
Whatever it is, all the best to both groups of students!
