There is no present more valuable to a teacher then to see his students succeed. And the joy is felt even more when the students come to visit their teachers to convey their thanks personally. And to top it all off, they even come bearing gifts! This is the ultimate joy of a teacher!
This was what happened recently when a group of students visited us to say thank you for teaching them. And at the same time they brought cakes, kuih and bakso, a specialty of one of the students! They didn't just come for a short visit but stayed on until it was almost time for us teachers to go home.
Even though I had classes during the last four periods of the day, and did not manage to spend time with them, I was happy, nonetheless. Again, to this group of students, a very good luck in all your undertakings. May Allah bless all of you.
